The basics run out of the box. Turn on the style checks when you want them.

Codex uses .codex/concise.json.
If both exist, the Claude configuration wins.

Keep an intentional phrase. Use concise-ignore, allow a phrase, or exempt a file. Style checks default to confirm mode: resubmit identical text to keep it.

Try it without blocking. Set softFail: true to receive findings as flagged allows. It is off by default.
